Our farm winery is the perfect venue for your special event. Special events
included, but are not limited to, meetings, conferences, banquets, dinners,
wedding receptions, private parties and other events. Guests must be invited
by invitation or reservation. The Carriage House offers 360 degree mountain
views, a rustic vineyard setting, and pastoral surroundings. King Family
Vineyards has everything you need for your special event. The winery is
convenient to Charlottesville, has sufficient parking, ample restrooms,
dimmer switch lighting, private dressing room, catering area, and last
but not least, award winning wines. 
Rental fees range from $2,000 to $5,000 Monday through Friday, and are $6000 on Saturday and Sunday. A winter discount is given January through March. A $500 security deposit is also required and is refunded if the clean-up is satisfactory and no damages have occurred. Fees include use of the facility, tables (up to eight 4' rounds, twenty-five 5' rounds, four 6' banquets, and four 8' banquets), up to 200 natural wood folding chairs for the ceremony, up to 200 padded folding chairs for the reception, cleaning fee, catering area for your caterer, and one winery employee for the event.
Only King Family Vineyards wines may be served and may be purchased for 15% off our retail prices. If you or your caterer provides an ABC license bottled beer (no kegs) and liquor may also be served.
Outside areas are limited to acoustic small jazz, bluegrass, classical,
and
string bands. Amplified bands and D.J.'s are permitted indoors. All
music
must conclude by 11:00 p.m.
Caterers will have access to our full service catering area. All food and beverage-related trash should be removed by the caterer. The kitchen and all serving areas should be thoroughly cleaned by the catering staff. Ultimately, clean up is the responsibility of the renter and must be completed the night of the event. We also require event insurance be obtained through your insurance carrier.
