We welcome you to enjoy a sampling of our award winning wines in our casual, relaxing Tasting Room during normal business hours. As you arrive, our gracious and knowledgeable staff will lead you through a tasting of our wines for $7 per person. A signature wine glass is included as a souvenir.
Classic Tastings are $7 per person with a signature glass included. Tastings are conducted in our Tasting Room at the bars. Our highly skilled wine educators will introduce you to a current selection of King Family wines.
Private Tastings are available with a Certified Specialist of Wine. Enjoy your tasting in a private setting while sampling our full portfolio of wines with signature glass included. Reservations are required and space is limited. There is a minimum fee of $100 for private tastings, which includes 6 people. A $15 fee applies for each additional person. Please provide 48 hours notice of cancellation for a full refund. We recommend bringing a light jacket as some spaces are kept at a low temperature for the wines.
The covered veranda, expansive lawn, or brick patio are perfect for outdoor picnics while the Tasting Room and warm stone fireplace are inviting on cooler days. Choose from our gourmet assortments of chocolates, cheeses, salamis, spreads, and hot french bread or bring your own goodies.
Driving Directions from Charlottesville Take Rt. 250 West past Western Albemarle High School. Turn right onto Rt. 797 (Hillsboro Lane). Turn right onto Rt. 684 (Half Mile Branch). Go one mile, winery entrance on the left. OR, take I-64 West to Exit 107 (Crozet), turn right onto Rt. 250 East. Go 1/2 mile, turn left onto Rt. 797 (Hillsboro Lane) and then as above.
